Congratulations to the following Old Haileyburians who have been recognised with the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for their outstanding service: 

Dr Bruce McGregor (OH 1970) was awarded an AM in this year’s Honours for services to Conservation and the Environment.

The late Mr Graham Dickinson (OH 1962) was awarded an OAM for his exceptional service to the Gisborne community through the Gisborne Region Events, Activities and Tourism Association. 

Mr Andrew Langford-Jones (OH 1966) was awarded an OAM for his exceptional service to golf through the Professional Golfers Association of Australia. 

Mr Brett Pollock (OH 1968) was awarded an OAM for his exceptional service to the community of Mosman Park, and to men’s health. 

Professor Jeffrey Ian Borland (OH 1978) was honoured with an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for his exceptional service to business as a labour market economist, to tertiary education, to microeconomic research and to public policy development.
